Problem Note 45898: Numeric attributes not supported for demand modeling
Do not use numeric product attributes in SAS® High Performance Markdown Optimization for demand modeling.
Even though DI_DM.ATTRIBUTE.ATTR_TYPE can be defined as decimal, integer, boolean, date, datetime or percent, values of these types are stored in the data mart as characters. You might not see errors when using these types. However, they might not be correctly converted from character to the appropriate data value when used.
All custom attributes that are used for demand modeling should have DI_DM.ATTRIBUTE.ATTR_TYPE = 2.
